Brief Description

The Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate Courses in Women's Studies, Human Rights, Sociology and Law in the Universities and Colleges include the topic of Violence Against Women (VAW), i.e. the various forms of VAW, the initiatives undertaken to combat VAW both at the national level (laws, policies and programmes) and at the international level.

All Women/Gender Studies Programmes in the Universities and Colleges target both men and women. There are a number of non-governmental organizations working on VAW who engage and focus on both men and boys along with women and girls.
